Me: Abel, don’t you have a test tomorrow?
Abel: Yes, but like at 3. No, at 2.
Me, raising eyebrows slightly: That’s still tomorrow.
Abel: Yeah…I guess.

Abel: Uh…

Is it just boys? My son has a project due on Wednesday and you would think it was a month away!

Not just boys. I always waited until the last minute to study. I STILL put off everything until the last minute!

Ooh: you’ve got a budding procrastinator there. I should know: my daughter used to wait until the very last minute to do her compositions. One night, she tackled Macbeth, The Lord of the Flies, and a short story all in one go. By the time she was ready to leave home, I was a nervous wreck.
And…um…I ought to be planning lessons as I write this…

Hi Mrs. Planet Nomad,
Now that Laura has gone back to hibernation in snowy Saskatchewan, we all need to do official reviews to see that she gets back to sunnier places in a timely fashion…
Can you send me your preferred email address to receive an evaluation form to complete on Laura’s time with you all?
Due to computer meltdown in transit, we are missing all addresses in our swissmail account…
BTW I am having fun tutoring 3 students at Trinity Western. One Chinese gal, and two Korean students. Also met with an Iraqi woman there today; she taught in Dubai and I just love talking with her.
