Ah the joys of the internet age. Travel is cheaper and easier, but reporting on said travel is not always the same. We’re back now, with a computer whose hard drive has been completely reformatted and is still having some issues.
Where were we? See if you can tell…
Sheep may safely graze…
“Oh my sweet Westley! What have I done?”

Worm’s Head, Rhossilli
Can you see the worm? No, me neither. Does it help to know that worm is an old word for dragon? No, not really.
Wanna-be band members.

Somewhere in Great Britain??? Forgot you were traveling, so will forgive you for making us wait so long for “Part 6 of Donn’s Great Adventure”. We read parts 1-5, one per night, to the kids as evening entertainment around the campfire on our recent camping trip. We are really excited to hear the conclusion, so forgive us for being impatient!

PS. I see the “dragon’s” head floating just above the water!

Yes, it had been quite a while since you posted! Glad your camera was working, even though your computer was being uncooperative, ’cause these are gorgeous photos! I was anticipating such, because the pictures Elina posts are so beautiful. Can’t wait to hear all about your trip!

Well I’m guessing Wales and Trafalgar Square – looks gorgeous and green and the band looks like they’re getting the attitude sussed. Album cover in the making there!

Wales, definitely Wales. I’m so darn jealous–and yes, that looks like a great album cover.

My vote is Wales, with a quick side-trip to London.

My vote is Wales, with a quick side-trip to London. Beautiful pictures, by the way. I would be jealous, except I’m in very green Minnesota right now.

that looks like a balm on desert-weary eyes! Gorgeous pics, lovely wannabe band members, but we all know they’re sweet on the inside. I hope there was an endless supply of rootbeer or local equivalent, and nary a goat innard (I’m still scarred by that entry!).

Love the pictures! It cracks me up that in the ‘wannabe band’ shot Able can’t help but grin while the other two are copping some MAJOR ‘tude.

It looks like Ireland or Scotland.

It has got to be Wales — right? Though Welsh sheep and Scottish sheep have a lot in common…
Let me know if you’re near our neighborhood!

The first picture is Three Cliffs Bay on the Gower just west of Swansea. The picture is taken from the West looking east. The next pictures are from the far Western end of the Gower at Rhossilli although the Wesley pciture could have been taken in any of several places in South Wales. The third picture shows the northern end of Rhossilli with its great beach and the fourth picture shows the worm. It looks more like a worm when the tide is in. Incidentally, South Wales has the second highest tides in the world after the Bay of Fundy. The last picture is easy. It’s one of the lions at the base of the Nelson monument in Traflager Square in London.
